The Samsung UNC6800 Series is an edge-lit LED-based LCD TV with precision dimming feature. It’s also the model that’s capable of producing the highest contrast ratio among all Samsung’s LED TVs. It doesn’t have 3D feature like the UNC8000 series do, but if you are looking for a LED TV with the best 2D picture quality, this is the model that you should get. Also, it’s not as expensive as the UNC8000 series which makes it the best choice for those who are not interested in 3D.
The Samsung UNC6800 Series is available in 2 sizes: 55-inch (UN55C6800) and 60-inch (UN60C6800 – to be available).

I’ve had this TV for about a month and so far, I have been very pleased with it. Picture quality is outstanding–even standard definition channels look nice–and the features and connectivity options are very good (I wish it had an analog audio-out port, but few HDTV’s do anymore). The built-in speakers are good but not great. A couple of minor annoyances–there is a bit of a delay when you turn the unit on, and also when changing channels–but I believe this is fairly typical among similar LCD TVs. You may wish to play around with the picture settings–the default was very dim for me. It also took a bit longer to set up than I expected (the base requires some assembly).
